Yea, and extra heat means extra amps pulled for the added resistance; ain't worth it. The ESC gets hot too, and You will notice that in performance too if You fly pack to pack.

If You want to fly pack to pack, do what I did, scrounge up enough parts and build another one, or two, from scratch. You don't need another TX, just bind it as well.
