Default RE: ENYA .50 ringed

ORIGINAL: Harry Lagman

Dar, that may be the case in theory but in many tests the guys at the field and I have run, these two props provide almost exactly the same load, typically within 100-150 rpm of each other at any given rpm point. They are to all intents and purposes the same static load and can be used pretty much interchangeably when determining performance.
Grant,

My calculations are indeed from Pé Reivers PropPower calculator; not from actual observations.

It is just that I witnessed no one in my area (not even myself...) ever flying anything with an APC 11x6...

I have used the Bolly Clubman 11.5x6 (MVVS .49 - 13,600 RPM) and 11.5x5 sizes and have sold many to other fliers here.

But in 11x6, I have only used and seen others use (many with the warning label still stuck on...[:'(] ) the Master Airscrew G2 and G3 black props.

The Super Tigre .45 ABC spun this G2 prop at 14,100 RPM... A very respectable number for a sport engine of this displacement, with a standard exhaust.
