I think both of you have hit on a few good points, you get what you pay for BUT sometimes you don't need the best. Take servos, a good BB standard servo is fine for a .30 fuel helo but totally wrong on a .90 also a servo that might be good for collective would be wrong for tail pitch. A lot of things depend on set up and application. It would be great to have a naughty and nice list but they would be opinions and hearsay and have some bad info in them.
