I got tired of wrestling with the aft canopy mounts on my axe, so I glued 8mm rare earth magnets to the mount rod and the canopy.

So far it works very well, the magnets hold it tightly in place.

I left the front mount the way it was.

The canopy is tilted forward, this allows room for a larger battery.
