RE: 12z/14mz HD gimble springs

I got one of the "heavy" springs today and it has the same dimensions as yours did and is identical to the originals. I shortened the spring by one coil and re-bent the loop. It gave the stick a good bit firmer feel around center which was what I wanted. I'll keep looking for a heavier spring though. The lack of response to your post from Bax and Krysta is interesting, guess Futaba doesn't want to tell us that there is no heavier spring that will work.
