Keep in mind he has no intention of doing 3D, the T-rex will be total overkill for sport flying. The Blade 400 can be had at a cheaper price than a well equipped T-rex. I have both and for sport flying I have no problem picking up the Blade to fly on lunch break. It gets my vote, very stable and can handle winds surprisingly well.
