Default RE: Static Thrust of ZDZ 100cc B2NG Engine

The TOC stuff from the mid 70's on -- I was involved with and they had nowhere near the power to weight on our present stuff
once we got into the hover and straightup rapid recovery - we really changed the acceptable criteria for power to weight.
I have models which unload going straight up -you can hear it happening .
It is pretty much common now to look for that kind of performance -- the foamies showed us how well models perform with 2 and 3 -1 power to weight setups . Now i is becoming a std. When I lived in Cincinnati - the "dBro boys showed up at patterncontests with big ol cardboard models with geared 60's - amazing for all of us at the time. We did patten models with OS factory gearbox 60's - they made horrible noise when piped to really run -but our 9 lb Cap 21's really performed
