Default RE: axe cp thread

Well I am a happy camper. This is the first flight I have done in almost 3 weeks that did not cost me at least $5.00 for a tail rotor.

I flew the whole battery with no major slam dunk glitches. It was a little gusty where I was flying but not bad. The tail does get blown around a little because of the rate mode gyro. I did find that the canopy catches a lot of air. I may end up covering the vertical tail to make it catch more air. That way it would blow the helicopter to the side ans not try to spin it so much.

I think I may get some time on it now that it does not flop like a fish out of water. I have the 3 in 1 on the out side of the frame down even with the center of the battery, the main motor wire have been moved to the left. The Rx is alone on top. The antenna is attached to the vertical tail with a cut off piece of servo arm.

It flies pretty well for being so small. I do like it now. I was about ready to use it as a hammer. Now I think I will have lots of fun.
