Given the precise reliable setup required for this type of model I wonder if you guys here went with the standard pushrods and connectors that are supplied with these kits:
I know a lot of people do not like the integrity of this type of pushrod connector, particularly the fear of things coming loose, however, they do seem to be the designers choice in the majority of these tpye of kits. - Sebart, Fliton etc.
Do you have any recommendations for a successful installation -
- Should the locking nut underneath be done up tight, or will this prevent the connector from turning in the servo horn which I think it needs to do?
- Is it advisable to use a dab of thread lock on the lock nut and or the grub screw?
- Anything else to watch out for?
- Would you replace them?
Thanks,
Russ
