RE: Static Thrust of ZDZ 100cc B2NG Engine
Hi there,
Thanks for answers, I was about to buy a used Krill Katana 33% with a ZDZ 100cc on it. The model was nealy new and in good condition, however the onwer had put some weight on it due to some re-inforcments made and modifications. The model after my modification (putting it on a diet) would come at arounf 30-31 lbs. In terms of wing loading this would be ok as, I have flown models with higher wing loading and were ok for 3D. For exapmple my QQ YAK 85'' is around 85gr/dm^2 and flies like the sim, the Katana would come at around 83 and due to the higer Reynolds would fly much better. BUT at this weight if the engine can not pull it, then I am not gonna get it.
If I go for a new one, I have the following options:
- DA 100cc
- DA 85cc
- ZDZ 100 B2NG
- 3W 106cc Twin
What do yout think?
Thanks again,
Nikos
