Traxxas says...........................
I called tech support and they told me my settings were to lean, but when I asked why they worked so well for so long, they did not have an answer.
I also asked if three gallons of fuel was par for these engines, and they said its more than par. I asked about a piston and sleeve, 90.00 bucks (for 105 you get a new engine, I don't understand the math on most large companies).
And when I talked to the parts department, he said, if your engine fires right up cold and then won't start, thats a good sign
of a weak engine. THIS IS MOST LIKELY NOT EVERYONES PROBLEM. The trucks we have are well used, and have all been run about the same amount of time.
If your engine is newer, this is most likely not your answer, unless
you toasted it, or did not break it in correctly.
my 2 cents ( we sent two of our in a while ago for replacement).
