Default RE: NQD Hydro

hi Scott.

I think that the hydro'll be too heavy for the power you'll be getting from the stuff off the admiral. The admiral's a pretty cool hull (i think it's a clone of the kyosho lambo cat), but alas the hydro, for all its good looks isn't so good performance wise. It needs hobby-grade electrics and hardware to get it seriously moving....and that's where i gave up on my plans for the one i had. If you're on a budget i'd think of forgetting the hydro and investing in the admiral, but that's me. IF however you're hell bent on getting the thing seriously moving, i think your best bet is to invest in some hobby-grade stuff.

NQD also make a rigger that can be transformed into a pretty fast boat, and also the batboat copy they make isn't a bad hull....keep us posted about the admiral.

good luck!!!!

Andrew
