I'm gonna pick up a used MG10-TR that needs an engine. I'll be mainly driving this thing as a basher with an occasional day at the track, but no racing, just to hit the jumps and goof around with one of my buddies.

Can anyone recommend a good all purpose engine for this truck that won't set me back $500?
