Default throttle linkage driving me crazy--advice please

Hello Guys, I've got a Zenoah G23 on my Ultra Stick 1.20. This requires a bellcrank linkage to link the pushrod to the throttle arm.

Anyway, I'm trying to set up my 9Cs "idle down" and "throttle cut". As you know, it is just a few millimeters of movement in the servo arm from "end point" to idle down to throttle cut.

All this seems to be lost in the minor slop in the linkage, since it has to go through the bellcrank.

I'm just going to replace the old pushrod, bellcrank, etc, and see if I can get the slop out.

Has anyone struggled with this?

ps don't tell me about the Zenoah Easy-Link (it is anything but)

THANKS!!
