I thought IMAC lines were distance not time, on a vertical line for sure, you want the same distance not time on the before and after lines correct?
Mflander......You are perfectly correct. The LINE is what needs to be equal...... Obviously, on a vertical up-line (or even a 45° up-line), gravity is slowing down the aircraft, so regardless of what method a pilot uses to make both lines equal, he/she has to take into consideration that the aircraft is slowing down when it's going up.
