Mine might have been an isolated incident, but my left stab broke while I was wringing mine out (not where I cut the covering either). If I were to put another one together, I would use flying wires on the tail. I also didn't like the way the rudder and elevator pushrods went together, and ended up making them twice (once to the book, once my way). The way the manual with the addendum had me make em' the dowels were shorter and there was a long section of wire on the servo end, which resulted in a lot of flex (especially on the rudder). I made mine the second time by just making the rearmost ends and installing them, marking where to cut the dowels at the servo end as to eliminate as much wire as possible, then made those ends. That worked out much better. By the way, the manual isn't kidding when it warns you about using too much deflection on the elevator, this thing will get really snappy which can be bad if you're not expecting it. That is a really nice flying ARF though, mine was lots of fun.
