as far as the 70 Ultimate goes: (I have never had one), when they were released there were many problems, they were taken off the market for over a year. They were rereleased, all the same numbers so there is no way to the difference between them. Not too many people taking chances on the new release version. They also have a slide valve carb. They are said to be more sensitive to linkage movement, harder to set up a twin engine. They are said to require more effort to get tuned in the first time. I was worried about having apumped motor since this will not be a regular flier for me. So I went with the KISS thought.
