I'm setting up two of my gassers with the VPX 1100 cells. I'm going to run two separate packs and switches going to my 9 channel 2.4 gig reciever. The reciever will accept two power leads so I think this will work out well. I used to run one battery pack and switch, but over the years I've become to feel that a little redunency is not a bad thing especially when there is such a small weight penalty. I've been wrapping my recievers and batteries with the foam made for that purpose from a major rc manufacturer. The only problem is that after about 6 months or so the foam starts to deteriorate and crumble. I don't want to use something that won't protect from vibration but would really like to move away from the crumbling foam. I'm sure there are plenty of good ideas out there. Would you mind sharing??? Also does anyone know how these A123 batteries hold up in about 25 degree weather??? Thanks.... Bill
