Default Engine between 50cc and 60 cc?

I am sure I will ruffle some feathers here, but i would stay far away from magneto engines if your budget will allow. Some people will say the magneto engines are the most trouble free, but my experience is anything but that.

Remember that a magneto engine is difficult to hand start at best. Most require either a really hard whack on the prop, a big spring on the engine, or a big electric starter. Because of the fixed timing of these engines they tend to kick back making them the least safe of the gas engines. Once they are running they run well at WOT, but because their timing is usually set in one position, runs rough at idle. Today, most magneto engines are considered "low performance" engines. If you have to get a G-62 have RCIGN convert it to a electronic ignition. You will have a better smoother idle and easy hand starts.
