Engine between 50cc and 60 cc?
THE G-62 CARB DOES STICK OUT BUT I PAINTED IT O.D. TO MATCH THE COWL. NOT AS NOTICABLE. WHILE ITS TRUE THE G-62 DOES VIBRATE, A PROPERLY BALANCED PROP WILL HELP. THE G-62 HAS THE SMALLEST FLY WHEEL OF ALL ZENOAHS, HNSE MORE VIBRATION AND HARDER TO START. YOU DO HAVE TO "SMACK" A 62, BUT A PROPERLY PRIMED (WELL FLOODED) 62 CAN AND WILL START ON THE THIRD OR FOURTH FLIP. AS FAR AS AN ELECTRONIC IGNITION GOES, YOUR ADDING A SWITCH, AND A BATTERY. FOR THE PRICE OF ALL THAT MODIFICATION, YOU MIGHT AS WELL GET THE FOX 3.2 THE G-62 IS A FINE ENGINE AND WILL GIVE YOU YEARS OF RELIABILITY AND WILL BE ALL YOU NEED FOR THE "Z" STUKA. AS FAR AS A TAURUS FOR THE STUKA OR ANY "Z" WARBIRD, IF THEY ARE LIGHT THEN YOUR GOING TO HAVE TO ADD LOTS OF DEAD NOSE WEIGHT,SO WHATS THE SENSE? THE STUKA AND ANY OTHER INLINE WARBIRD ARE'NT THAT BAD FOR ADDING DEAD WEIGHT., BUT ANY OF THE RADIAL SHORT NOSED WARBIRDS, I'VE SEEN AS MUCH AS SIX POUNDS OF NOSE WEIGHT FOR BALANCE. EXAMPLE: MY STUKA WITH A 101" W/S WITH ALL FUNCTIONAL CONTROLS AND THE SIREN WEIGHS 28LBS. G-62 NO DEAD WEIGHT. THE "Z" HELLCAT 96" W/S WITH RETRACTS COMES IN FROM 38 TO 45LBS. BOTH AIRCRAFT ARE 1/5TH SCALE. THE "Z" CORSAIR COMES IN AT 31LBS WITH A G-62 AND DEAD NOSE WEIGHT.
