Default engine options

Hisham, your going to get as many options as there are engines available in that size range.. there are few "Dogs"... in the entire bunch.. what you won't be able to find out is which one is "THE BEST".... cause there isnt one specific engine thats better that all the rest for all applications. Having said that..Take all the requirements you have for YOUR plane.. and weigh them against whats out there.. I worked in the Small engine industry for 10 years and its not rocket science!!.. Get something that workes well... fits your space. and you can afford.. chances are.. that it will be relatively trouble free. Unless you are planning to do 3 D type aerobatics, where every little ounce is sometimes a consideration.. I dont think you can go wrong with just about any engine. I have both types.. mag and ignition.. they both work fine.. the ignition engine is a little smoother.. and easier to start.. but. my G-45 works well too... Regards BobH.
