Please forgive the intrusion...... I run across this while researching an answer to my similar questions.

If I use a 1600mA 20C 3cell LiPo and...... hypothetically a......

A small 8A continuous 10A? surge, brushless and a 12A ESC I'm ok right?
What if I run maybe a 15A continuous ummmm 18A? surge, brushless and 12A ESC? Will it pop the ESC or will the ESC only supply the 12A and limit the motor power?
What if I run a 8A continuous 10A? surge, brushless with a 100A ESC? will the motor only pull the 8A or will I pop the motor?

It's for my info and I'm trying to pick parts that are portable between varying sized (within reason) electric planes.

Really appreciate the help. What I've been told doesn't correspond with some stuff I've read.
