RE: aeromaster bipe wing?
Hey fg56,
I've flown all 3 of the Aeromaster variations. My dad and I built several of them back iin the '70s. Mine all had the small wings, but my dad tried the 2 larger variations. I would stick with the smaller wings. The version with both wings swept (the largest configuration) had noticably more drag and seemed less aerobatic. All of our Aeromasters were powered with OS goldhead or blackhead engines - not exceptionally powerful. I did get to fly an Aeromaster powered with an OS 60 FSR (the small wing configuration) that belonged to a fellow club member and really liked the additional power. My dad scratch built one (the small winged configuration) about 15 years ago and powered it with an OS 91 4-stroke. He loved it.
Great airplane (a personal favorite)!
