Do you fly where there are little rocks or small twigs on the runway? Are the holes only on the bottom? Two of the fields I fly at are dirt and every once in awhile you find little pinholes in the open structure areas where a stick or rock has been thrown up during takeoff or landing. Sometimes they are small enough that I don't notice them until I get home and do a good cleaning.
