Default Trouble with Quadra 35 (Update!)

If it has a walbro carb on it and it has been sitting for a long period of time you should put a rebuild kit in the carb as the diaphrams get hard in them. This will make it not pump fuel.
A walbro carb is more or less vacumme fuel injection for less of a better way to state it. The diaphrams in them are the fuel pump. and fuel metering. If there is any corosion in the carb from sitting replace the carb they are not real expensive and it will save you major headaches

Thanks! I will pass this info on. The carb has been dismantled and cleaned. Thanks RC for that point tip! It is very much like the timing is off. My friend mentioned that the carb did not pull fuel well. What could that mean? When the throttle is advanced the engine dies and seems to be going lean. What RPMs might I be looking for with the 18-6 zinger? Oh, I am sure that he knows this but about how many turns out would be a good starting point? I'm really excited to get this vintage plane and engine back in the air, thanks for all your help!
