Default Advice wanted from you pros

i have 2 cutting edge battle floyds and am pretty new to the whole thing. I want to plan my fleet around the assumption that i am going to fly combat. however i live in NC and there isnt many combatants here. I want my next plane to be a scale bird. you make very good points and it seems to be the 100% consensus. I was hoping for a way around this at least to start. I am not a great builder but i know i will get better at just by being around the hobby. I understand that when i get fully into the combat arena i have to have a large quantity of planes and i will probably fly open because of the issues you mentioned.

Does my reasoning make sense? I am impatient and have a nice brand new OS25 that i just bought from one of the guys that post on this site!! I am ready and i am willing to spend a bit more up front just to get my feet wet.

I am considering buying several kits (open) when i feel i can fly in combat and find the time and an event to get in. till then... i am still cutting my teeth. Thanks tattoo. I know you are a respected member here and at RCCA and i do respect your opinion. Please give me any other alternatives you can.

thank you.
