I received my new Orbit Charger this week. Most every time I try to charge a pack I get this error message after a few minutes. I am using the "peak" charge mode. I tried charging a 1400 mAh NiCd, and a 2150 mAh niMh. These packs were both only partially discharged. Then I discharged another nicd pack. The discharge function seems to work fine. But when I tried to charge this totally discharged pack, I got the same error message.

I am assuming is is defective and needs to be returned. If anyone has any insight into this, let me know.

I will try some of the other charge modes to see what happens, but I am mainly interested in using the automatic peak charge feature.
