Myself and club members have tried a few combinations, here they are. (Keep in mind I am the one of the senior members of this club with two years flying R/C.)

Hanger9 Superstick 60 W/OS61FX
1/3 Scale GP Pitts W/Fuji50
Lanier Dart 40-60 W/46 Tower
Lanier Dart 40-60 W/ MDS 78
GP Dazzler W/46 Tower
GP Extra 40 size W/ Magnum91 4-stroke
Lanier Edge 540T 120 W/Moki135
Lanier Edge 540T 120 W/US35
Cermark Sukhoi 60 W/MDS 78
Cermark Sukhoi 60 W/Magnum 91 4-stroke
Super Skybolt 60 W/Moki 135
Ultimate Biplane 60 W/Magnum 120 4-stroke

The list goes on but these are a few that we have tried. I'm starting to believe we are not using the correct props from looking at what you guys use. We always use the recommended prop sizes or close to them.
Of all the combinations above, the last two will definetly have enough power if we could get the right prop. As for the rest of the planes listed, I do not know if the power was ever there regardless of prop selection. What are your thoughts.
