One bad thing with the length, is it makes it hard to keep the rear driveshaft from touching the frame as it runs back because it hardly has any angle to it being so long, but I think I have the frame cut back enough now that it will work out ok.
Yer, I had this problem and spent a long time filing and cutting the chassis/bottom of the motor to get the drive shaft to clear. I considered adding a 3rd uni joint mounted on a bearing like the long tray back trucks. Decided this was to complicated and fragile in the end.
