Default Just got home from the field.....

Hey, thanks a bunch guys, just got home from flying (hovering) and am really stoked up. It's not so bad if you have the right combination. I got called every name in the book for building a QHOR plane to learn to hover, but I'm hovering and they are not! The guy's said it wasn't fair, that it's cheating...bah it's teaching me the basics of hovering without costing a fortune. Heck, the prop bill is going to be enough. I've done my share of "Dorking it in", I'd hate to have to replace all those broken balsa planes at this rate, let alone the time away from the field and the forgotten skills. This is a good stable platform in which to learn the basics, and it takes some abuse. The amount of time it takes to install a new prop and get back at is all it takes after a mishap and you are back in the air. I even managed a torque roll, maybe a bit fast, but it counts! My brother is doing tail touches already, we just started seriously trying to hover on Thursday afternoon. Great plane! Thanks again Guys and Gals.
