There are not alot of women that fly, but the ones that do make the most wonderful pilots, and i think that if more tried it they to would be hooked and it is nice to have familys at the field, we have many cook outs at our field with many familys that attent and we think that it is a good thing to have these different events including free drinks and hot dogs and burgers and usually brings in around 60 to 70 people at any one event, and many pilots fly all day in the events we have, it is a warm feeling to have the familys there for these events, and cook outs. Also prizes are drawn at the end of the day, nice prizes that shop owners and the clubs put out and sell many tickets.
