Default RE: GP GEE BEE

All the gas engines are too heavy for this plane....
Unfortionately so.....
This plane looks like it will never land in a nice glide w/a smooth tuchdown.....
It always seems to bounce when it lands and no one that I have seen in any of the videos is able to let the plane come in for a stall, and a flair type Normal landing.....

This may be due to the pilots flying the plane.....
Perhaps the need to add expo to the elevator?

Has anyone added flaps to this bird???
It seems that GP would have had a very popular plane if you were able to fly this with a gasser, and that it would rollout on landings better....

A 1..20 size plane should be able to take a 26cc gas engine!>>..

This one can not....

I don't own this plane, but really like the looks of it....

I think that manufactures, ( like great planes and others) would benifit hugely by updating models rather than just dicontinueing them!!...

Like ,
why not have a UPdate on the wings for this plane?
Make them longer and wider, so that it would lighten the wing loading??????

Perhaps I need to start up a company that makes wings to update kits?
Just like the aftermarket world in RC Cars.. and Buggies, Truggies, and Less not forget the almighty T-maxx rage in the year 2000?
Talk about a aftermarket killing!....

I gues there is but one issue, and that is that shipping cost more with the shipment of a pair of wings, but why not have them in a Hobby store?

I know that one could have a pair of FOam wings build for this model, that was lighter and longer and wider that would slide right one....
But would require one to sheet the wings...

Perhaps Flaps would be a better option?
Being that the only down fall of this plane is the Landings!!!!

I will get off my soapbox....
I just wanted to shed some light on this matter....
