The one thing that suprised me more than anything was my ultralight.
With wheel pants it cruises at 60 MPH (GPS verified)
With the wheel pants removed -55 MPH
I never would have guessed such a difference in speed.
I guess thats why I make my own canopies and servo covers and just try to clean things up on the foamies.
I use a soldering iron to bury the carbon fiber rods.etc
hey, makes sense with and with out wheel pans, more drag = less efficency = less speed, that simple, eh, er, kindof stalled work on plane, decided to make it single wing, got to get RC stuff on order REAL SOON!!!!!!!!!!
