Default RE: Fun with Flat Foam

Hey Guys,

.... Back to flat foam... I put together my second build of the Thomas Nelson's SU-27, with fan fold foam. However this time, I modified the design and put in some ailerons to increase the roll rate. I really liked how my first one flew, but using elevon mixing it just didn't roll fast enough.

I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. My first couple attempts at flying it were not that great... I biffed it into the snow two or three times. I had the mixing too high, and the ailerons were just too sensitive. Dropped it back to 25% (yeah, I started at 100%, lol), and it's much more managable.

Here is some video from todays flight! Enjoy!
