RE: axe cp thread
AXE one is bone stock. I have re-arranged the Rx and 3-in-1 to fight electrical glitches. It still does the climb, drop thing that so many other AXEs do. I found that one servo was was loose and sloppy in the gears. I have replaced all stockers with HS-55's. I will see how it does with those in place of the stock ones. I have 3 flights on it without any major crunch.
Axe #2 is all separates. I'm waiting for my 240 to show up. I will replace the stock servos in it with some Airtronics 94091 9gram micros and see how they do. I am also replacing the servo links with ball links on both ends to see if I can get rid of some slop. I am also replacing the stock arms with the Dubro heavy duty arms. I have a linkage set on order and will see how it fits. I ordered the metal balls and the 2X7mm screws along with the M2 nuts for the servo arms. Should be a good flyer after all of this.
I did have a real good first flight with my MX450. That is a nice bird. It flies so smooth right off the ground. It is a great flying cruiser.
