Default RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D Part II - Thread Continuation

Hehe, it's a 40. I had a PNP that was my first nitro plane ... I mean it was really my first real plane other than park flyers. I skipped clean past a trainer and went for the Twist. I didn't have any trouble flying it but I couldn't do anything beyond basic setup. It didn't ever harrier worth a darn and I couldn't hover it due to a lack of power (Evolution 46). I was trying to hover at 1/2-3/4 stick and it really needed about WOT to do it. I also decided that I had my CG too far forward to make it easier to land, but didn't really help with the flight characteristics when it came to high alpha.
But now that I've stumbled across this thread again, I remember how awesome that plane was and how impressive it was doing inverted flatspins. I'm really looking forward to it with the Saito 82. I'll probably have to hold off a few weeks to get my engine unless I have enough left over at the end of the month, but I'll definitely be able to get the servos in it and the better part of it built up.
I can't wait! LOL
