RE: Behotec JB66 - Why not?
Not to put the behotec turbine down, but I owned the j-66, Don Perry can probly back me up on my problems, nothing peter objected to fixing, but the starter sliped causing the motor to not beable to spool up to an RPM to start, it was sliping a bit, but it got worst and worst, Peter told use to clean bendix, did nothing, we sent it back and it ran, started great, no screwing with anything. We put it back on my aviation design Phoenicx and put aboyt 30 mins on motor, got down to land and put up elevator in for brakes, I guess I was to fast, dug the nose in the runway, could have fixed the fuse but just sold. I did not have much luck with that dang Phoenix from day one, Don Perry flew it so goed though, I could be mistaken but after we griped to Peter about the The book CG being wrong, and we changed it to fly fairly good, the CG was changed on Peters website. We knocked the gear out of that airplane so many time I stoped counting. Flew good though, just rough landings and the runway I was flying off, grass, did not help any at all.
