Default RE: Extreme composite Pro-Line

Well, mine is finally done. Unfortunately, it came in at 11 lb 0.8 oz. However, I don't know how accurate my scale is, will try it on another one soon. However, there is a 1% allowance on the scale, and I do think mine is one of the heaviest one out of all of the original 5 prototypes imported by BVM. Therefore, the actual production version may be slightly less. In addition, I don't know why the factory have installed a ladder crutch along the fuse. If it has the same construction as my Astral XX, I do not foresee any rigidity issue, and can definitely save some weight. may be some of you who has the production version can inform me whether yours has the same crutch arrangement or not.

Anyway, it took me about a month to complete the installation. Yes, I'm a slow installer/ procrastinator. Overall, a pretty uneventful process. It will be at least another two weeks before test flight, I have just sent my radio to Futaba to cure the infamous encoder problem. Here are the specs:-

Prop - APC 17.25 x 10/11

Spinner - Pilot 89 mm

Mount - Flight Hobby designed by Akiba

Header - Hatori 823

Pipe - Hatori 821

Pipe mount - Nishioka 29 mm

Tank - K&S 600cc

Radio - Futaba 14 MZ with 5114 rx

Servos - 9154 x 2 ail, 9151 rud, 9255 ele

Battery - 4.8V, 4 cell, 1,500 mAh
