I use the 401/9650 on my 450 electric. For basic training type of flying I am sure the 9650 would do fine. But once you start pushing 3D I think you would be well advised to go to the one they sell with it (9254).
Yes the spectrum servos would do fine for training and basic aerobatics, but I would go to something better later.
Yes, your 10% omega fuel will work and deliver more power then necessary for initial training and basic aerobatics, but the needle adjustments will be a little more sensitive then with higher nitro heli fuels.
Heck, years ago I did most of my training on an OS28 and 5% fuel.
i read a memo at my LHS that was supposed to be spectrum it stated that the servos were not made for nitro or gas heli's because of the vibrations but that they were fine for electric heli's and all airplanes. i have been to the spectrum web site and i have not seen the memo there but i took my servos out of my heli and replaced them just in case. there is just tooooooo much money in my heli's for me to take a chance
