Hello 1949, this is 1942 calling . . .
Don't hold your breath waiting for laminating film to bubble, sag, or wrinkle. I've had planes last for years without any of those problems. Alas, I do not know how long it takes for that film to destabilize - my flying ability tends to limit that type of data.
For what its worth, since 1999 my models have been hangared in an un-cooled North Carolina attic. Still no complaints.
