True most plastics are made in china, but they're manufactured to the designers requirements. If its designed crap then it will be crap.
the point is OFNA (Hong nor or hobao) may have some old designs as well as new, but they're pretty much tried and tested for their applications and support is great the world over. Both Hong Nor and Hobao placed buggies in the worlds and the euros. I don't see himoto's, bazookas or any other crap brand there.
Sure as an entry level buggy, for someone getting into the hobby they may be OK, but for similar money you can buy a hyper 7, which has a racing pedigree second to none and has massive support. Why bother with the no name stuff in that case?
Your arguement carries little weight i'm afraid.
There is better to be had for similar money and that my friend is that!
+1 I do not pay an arm and leg for my stuff as I run Hobao as well as I do not do RTR just it is a wast in my opinion if you are a serous RCer. For the price, quality and performance you just cannot beat a Hyper!
