DT thanks I think that the ski's are two smoll for the astro hog. They are not fixed rigid.
There was a real stiff coating of ice on the snow the day we taxied her around but now that the weather is warmer IT won't. when I flew her I would open the throttle up full while a friend of mine held the plane once max r's were reached he then gave it a little push and in less than 20 ft she was airborn.
Here a couple of pics of my air strip. The 1st pic was taken about 20 ft off the runway looking south and the 2nd pic was taken about 20 fr off the runway looking north. It's not the greatest airstrip in the world I had my eye on some other pieces of property that would of made a better field but the wife was sold on this piece of prop so that is mainly why I bought the T---T, so that when I wake up in the morning an have a cup of coffee go for a couple of flights before starting my day.
I have been flying the sig se there for the past 3 yrs but I am very bored with that plane.
