Default RE: RC Packs Battery Pack Question

ORIGINAL: !jAsOfRaW!

Yeah right now i have a 1400mah pack for my X but i dont like because it will only last 2 hours because i run high powered servos. What would be the highest pack i can go?
5000mah? I want to get it from only battery packs but.

ORIGINAL: rcnitrohead
It has a 20amp discharge rate, I'm not too too sure if it will work[]
What does that mean?

That pack has D cells! [X(] it's gonna be huge and heavy!
But will it work. Thats the question. Or will it just blow the servos.

i will work electrically
it won't "blow"anything
20a discharge rate just means that it can provide up to 20 amps of current for short bursts
it is HUGE, 4"x2.5"x2.5" and almost 2 pounds
if you want to strap something that big to your truck, have at it...
personally, i'd just go to wall mart and buy 10 2500mah AA's and make a couple of packs myself
then just swap them when the first goes flat
if 1400mah is giving you two hours
a 2500 mah pack would give you 3.5 hours
2 2500mah packs will give you 7 hours or so
