I can get a hellfire ss kit with a XR2i AM w/1-Z590M & 1-Z270 all NIB for $360 shipped. Is it worth it?

I have read most of this forum and understand the issues w/ the hellfire. However, I am still drawn to it. I have a Losi 8ight-t, that I bought as a RTR. Now I want a kit to build from ground up for the experience. I do not want to throw $$ away, and that is why I am asking for your thoughts.
