I have picked up rumours of a 7C FASST firmware upgrade. I would assume that something is/has been done to address the issue with the possibility of the GUID being set to 0 for a fast on-off switching sequence and for deep discharging. However, nothing conclusive has been revealed as to the nature of such an update.

My Futaba dealer has told me that I have a choice of testing the transmitter with a GUID=0 receiver, or sending it in for a software update, but has not been able to tell me what this update fixes.
