I need some help......my club is 10 miles away....not a big deal. But because of having two small children, I can't always make it out there. I have 2 large open fields across from my house, on the other side of the fields is a major 4 lane highway. I could fly my T***T and other nitro planes in these fields, but I refuse to because of insurance, the highway and the unexpected. However I think an electric 3-d profile would be fine for these fields. The profile would be flown in closer to me .....I would be 1/8 mile from highway (speed limit is 35 in this area), but not an AMA field so the insurance thing comes up....

Any thoughts on

1. Flying this close to highway traffic?
2. Flying without AMA behind me (insurance)?.....and yes I have homeowners insurance
3. A good choice for an electric 3-d profile? Yes I love my T***T, but there are times that I can't get to the field to fly it. Stepping out the front door to fly would be a great option.
