The stuff comes in different thicknesses. Do you know what thickness you were given? For our purposes we generally use 1.5 mil thickness. I would hate to see you iron on the stuff that is used for a drivers license!
Some of the combat guys use 3 mil which is very tough indeed. Also twice as heavy and still it weighs less than $onokote.
