As it stands, it seems people are of the impression that they're left with systems that can "self destruct" (ref on/off and discharging), unaware that there is a permanent solution. I think it would be a good idea if Futaba made it clear, e.g. through the service advisory, that this can be fixed trhough a simple software update.
