Cobra, trust me you will love it. I also assembled the ARF and found it flys like a big pattern plane. I should say take off and landing are not pattern plane like but after you get that gear retracted and get up some speed up it is a dream to fly.

On take off be prepaired to apply considerable right rudder when power is added, let the tail come up and run on the mains a little before you pull it off. I land with full flaps and a little power....maybe like high idle, keep the nose down on approach and maintain solid flying speed until flair. I do not use flaps for take off.
