Im just gonna quote myself from the other post

Lemme just say this.

There is no ' VS '.

Its what you want.

I want Nitro, I got a Nitro
I want Gas, I got a Gas.
You want an electric, Go get an electric.!

Its a hobby, its made to relax, not to debate ' x ' is better than ' y ' and ' red ' is darker than ' blue ' . People mostly get into this hobby to get away from the stress of real life.! So why should there be a discussion on which branch of the hobby is best.

A hobby is a hobby, whatever you do..

Just get what you want and drive it, there is no discussion.

It always ends up in immature comments being directed at members, and leads no where.

There is NO point in debating this, it has been done so many many times and nearly always ended up the same.

Nitro = Fun
Gas = Fun
Electric = Fun

Thats it....

Saying that, congrats to the genius who posts a Nitro VS Electric thread in the electric section of the website.
This is a forum for disscussion. No one should EVER make personal attacks at others. Thats not what this is for. It is here to talk about our hobby, learn new things, and see what others are doing in it. If you cant handle a little disscussion, then maybe its not the place for you. I agree with some of your points, get what you want, we are in it for fun. So,whatever is fun for you is best. But I see nothing wrong with comparing the different types of r/c's. And again, I agree people should not make personal attacks, but that goes for anywhere on this website not just this one topic. I've learned some from this thread, especially the longer one in the electric section. Like there are 15 hp. hobby size electric motors..I never knew that !

So, buy what ya want...and enjoy every one ! And if you want to try to compare with some facts...keep it clean and have fun
